In response to COVID-19, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is changing the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) workshops for the Housing for a Healthy California (HHC) program to

online-only events. HCD will not be hosting in-person workshops.

What if I already registered?

  • You should have received an email regarding the cancelled workshop. Simply register for the preferred webinar below.

  • If you already signed up to attend the webinar on April 3, no action needed. However, please note the new start time of 1:00 p.m.

Applications are due June 25, 2020 by 5:00 p.m.

Background:

The goal of the Housing for a Healthy California program is to reduce the over-utilization of emergency departments, inpatient care, nursing home stays, and use of corrections systems and law enforcement resources for people who are experiencing homelessness or chronic homelessness and a high-cost health user.
