2023 Charge! Program Webinar

We are pleased to announce that the Air District's FYE 2023 Charge! Program will open on November 15, 2022, and we are hosting a pre-application webinar. The application period will close on March 3, 2023.
The Air District recommends that interested parties attend the pre-application webinar, which will be held on Tuesday November 29, 2022, from 10–11 AM PT (register). The Air District will provide information on how to apply for the 2023 Charge! Program as well as answer questions from participants.
The Charge! Program provides grant funding to offset a portion of the cost of purchasing and installing new chargers for light-duty electric vehicles along transportation corridors and at multi-family housing facilities, destinations, transit parking locations, and workplaces across the Bay Area.
A total of $5 million in grant funding will be available to organizations, including public agencies, businesses, homeowner associations, and non-profits. The 2023 Charge! Program will be a competitive solicitation, and all complete applications will be scored and ranked. The Air District will prioritize projects that install electric vehicle charging at multi-family housing, and projects located in Priority Population Areas.
The Charge! Program web page will be updated with full program requirements, Program Guidance, Interested Parties List, webinar slides and recording, and additional information when the application period opens.
All questions must be received by email. Questions and responses will be published to the Charge! Program web page. Questions will be accepted on a rolling basis until February 15, 2023.
