Diesel Emissions Mitigation Grant applications due Aug. 31, 2021

This is your last chance to apply for funding in 2021 to replace your older diesel equipment. DEQ plans to award up to $8 million in grants to businesses, governments and equipment owners this year.

Submit your application through DEQ’s grant platform no later than 5 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2021. DEQ will announce grant awards in November 2021. Visit the Diesel Emissions Mitigation Grant Program to learn how to apply.

Retrofit, repower, replace

The DEQ Diesel Emissions Mitigation Grant Program will  provide approximately $8 million per year between 2021 and 2025 to support businesses, governments and equipment owners retrofit, repower or replace older or more polluting diesel engines with new, cleaner alternative technologies. This is part of a larger effort to reduce diesel emissions in the state and help address some of the air quality challenges facing Oregonians.
