The Jobs Plus Program is a place-based employment program designed to increase earnings and employment outcomes for residents of public housing developments. The program provides funding to support work readiness and job placement services, as well as financial incentives for working families. The ultimate goal of the program is to help public housing residents achieve self-sufficiency by increasing their earned income and decreasing their reliance on public assistance. The FY 2023 Jobs Plus NOFO invites eligible applicants to apply for funding to implement the Jobs Plus Program in their communities.
