The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is hosting an interactive webinar on the Mobilehome Park Rehabilitation and Resident Ownership Program (MPRROP) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for approximately $34 million.
GMA has done a lot of these applications - we are happy to help you with yours.
MPRROP funding will enable a resident organization, nonprofit sponsor, or local public agency to do the following:
Convert, acquire, and/or rehabilitate existing mobilehome parks to preserve them as a source of affordable housing and to assist park residents with needed repairs, accessibility upgrades, or replacement of mobilehomes.
Construct or reconstruct a mobilehome park to replace one that has been destroyed by a natural disaster.
What's the webinar about?
Staff will review what's new in the NOFA, eligible activities, eligibility requirements, types of funding and the application. Immediately following the training, there will be a Question and Answer period to provide additional technical assistance.
Who should attend?
Resident organizations, qualified nonprofit housing sponsors, and local public entities authorized to engage in or assist in the development or operation of housing of low- or moderate-income persons and families.
Applications will be accepted from
July 6, 2020 to January 6, 2021 or until HCD has received eligible applications requesting all funds available.
