The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) announced the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for approx. $160 million in federal National Housing Trust Fund funding for the Housing for a Healthy California (HHC) Program, Article I on December 31, 2021.
Application Materials
Applications must be submitted through the new online eCivis Grants Network System (GMS). The GMS will start to accept applications on January 17, 2022.
Application forms can be found on the HHC webpage or in the GMS under the NHTF section.
Over-the-counter applications are due February 15, 2022
Competitive applications are due March 1, 2022
Please note: Previously awarded HHC projects may apply for additional funds on an over-the-counter basis. New projects will be evaluated on a competitive basis.
