Grant Name: Oregon Secure Rural Schools and Community Deadline: September 30, 2020 Available Amount: $20,000 to $100,000 Number Of Awards: 10-50

Funding Uses: The purpose of this US Department of the Interior program is to provide funds to counties that traditionally have been supported by timber payments. This program seeks to: stabilize and transition payments to counties to provide funding for schools and roads that supplements other available funds; and to make additional investments in, and create additional employment opportunities. Eligibility Requirements: State and local government entities; private and nonprofit entities; and landowners. Funder Match Requirement: Not required, however, is strongly encouraged.
