The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) in partnership with the California Strategic Growth Council (SGC) are pleased to announce the Round 6 Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) program Final adopted Guidelines and the Notice of Funding Availability for approximately $405 million.
The application will be posted by March 12. Applications must be submitted electronically using the Financial Assistance Application Submittal Tool (FAAST) system. HCD will no longer accept hardcopy submittals.
Applications are due June 8, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

AHSC program staff will host application workshops and consultation webinars over Zoom. The application workshops will offer participants the opportunity to hear an overview of the AHSC Guidelines and any updates that have been developed since the fifth round. Program staff will set aside time at the end of the presentation to answer general Guidelines questions posed by attendees.
Accepting Requests for Technical Assistance We encourage first-time applicants, applicants based in disadvantaged, low-income, and Tribal communities, and other prospective applicants needing extra support to request technical assistance (TA) through the Survey to Request AHSC Technical Assistance. The AHSC TA Program provides direct application assistance and capacity building services at no cost. The TA Program availability is limited.
