Award Details: The maximum award amount is $8 million per Air District. Projects are eligible for up to 100% of the total project costs. The Energy Commission reserves the right to adjust funding maximum award amounts based on the overall demand for funding.

Overview: This is a competitive grant solicitation. The California Energy Commission’s (Energy Commission) Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program (ARFVTP) announces the availability of up to $10,000,000 in grant funds for California Air Districts to fund their existing or planned incentive programs for compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles.
Eligibility: This solicitation is open to all California Air Districts.
Eligible Projects: Eligible projects are limited to existing or planned California Air District programs that will incentivize the purchase of CNG vehicles and vehicles retrofitted to use CNG for use in California. The project can fund an existing program’s wait list or provide additional funding for an existing program or can secure funds for anticipated incentives of a planned program.
