CalSEED (managed by New Energy Nexus) is providing $24 million in grants over a 5-year period to support early-stage clean energy concepts. Awardees can receive up to $150,000 for proof-of-concept activities and have the chance to participate in a business plan competition for an additional $450,000.
CalSEED is made possible by the California Energy Commission and funded through the Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC). CalSEED is administered by New Energy Nexus.
