This next Liftoff Report will cover a broad range of decarbonization technologies across multiple industrial sectors including iron and steel, chemicals, concrete and cement, and more.
Through the Pathways to Commercial Liftoff Reports, DOE is providing the private sector and other industry partners a valuable, engagement-driven resource on how and when certain technologies can reach full-scale deployment to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the industrial sector. Industrial decarbonization—through a variety of technologies that will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the difficult-to-decarbonize sector—will play a crucial role in reaching a net-zero economy.
