This is a competitive grant solicitation where the CEC announces the provision of grants to local governments. These grants will be awarded for eligible project activities, which include the following:
Community building decarbonization planning.
Municipal building decarbonization planning.
Advancing municipal operations to support building decarbonization.
Developing local codes, ordinances, and voluntary decarbonization measures.
Building decarbonization-related workforce development activities.
