HMA Applicants -
As you know, Cal OES Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) has received an increase in the amount of funding available under DR-4558 for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. Because of the increased funding availability, Cal OES HMA is opening a second HMGP subapplication period under this disaster. They are inviting new subapplications under DR-4558 Round II to Cal OES HMA by June 18, 2021. Even if you have submitted previously you may submit additional subapplications under Round II.
We can assist you with your Notice of Interest (NOI) which is required prior to submission of a subapplication. Cal OES would like you to submit your NOI by May 7. NOIs submitted after this date are not guaranteed to be reviewed prior to the DR-4558 Round II subapplication deadline. Our firm is very well versed in the ins and outs of how to complete the NOI.
The Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA) can be very complicated – we have associates that specialize in completing the BCAs for these applications. This is the key element that many complete incorrectly.
