FEMA Transit Security Grant Program Application Webinar
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will host a webinar on Thursday, May 4 at 1:00pm – 2:00pm ET to provide technical assistance regarding the Transit Security Grant Program (TSGP). Registration is not required.
FEMA’s TSGP applications are now open until 5:00pm ET on May 18, 2023. The grant program provides funding to eligible public transportation systems to promote sustainable, risk-based efforts to protect critical transportation infrastructure and the traveling public from acts of terrorism.
For fiscal year 2023, the grant program will award $93 million to eligible public transit systems. These funds may be used to update emergency management and security plans that are referenced in an Agency Safety Plan (ASP).
