$6.5 Billion in Loans Available for Water Infrastructure Projects

For Fiscal Year 2021, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approximately $6.5 billion in credit that could finance over $13 billion in water infrastructure projects through the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) program. Grant Management Associates has experience with these and many other Loan Packages; USDA, SRF, CEC, EDA and others. We have experience and success with seeking principle forgiveness on a portion of the loan.

$5.5 billion is available through the WIFIA program and $1 billion is available through EPA's SWIFIA program. Only State water infrastructure authorities are eligible to submit a Letter of Interest for SWIFIA.

Prospective borrowers seeking WIFIA credit assistance must submit a letter of interest by July 23, 2021 and State infrastructure finance authorities seeking SWIFIA credit assistance must submit a letter by June 25, 2021.
