Description:
The State of California's Community Economic Resilience Fund Program (CERF) team is hosting a Tribal Listening Session to seek input on the development of the CERF Tribal Funding Opportunity. The CERF Tribal Funding Opportunity is a $20 million fund available for tribal economic planning and implementation projects. CERF will support statewide economic recovery and resilience, and the Tribal Funding Opportunity recognizes that tribes play a critical role in those efforts.
Tribal organizations and California Native American Tribes, as defined by the Native American Heritage Commission (NAHC) Tribal Consultation Policy, are invited to participate in the CERF Tribal Listening Session on Wednesday, August 24 at 10 a.m.
After the listening session, the State's CERF team will draft the CERF Tribal Funding Opportunity Guidelines and collect input through a public comment period and draft guidelines workshops
