Technical Assistance to the Survivors of Torture Program
The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is accepting applications for federal fiscal year (FY) 2022 Technical Assistance to the Survivors of Torture (TA SOT) Cooperative Agreement. Under this Cooperative Agreement, ORR seeks to create a Healing Torture and Trauma Initiative (Initiative) that will include 1) establishing a National Center for Healing Torture and Trauma (National Center) to coordinate education, training, and research efforts, and 2) growing a strong and sustainable national network of organizations serving survivors of torture and their families, henceforth referred to as the Network. The National Center will lead efforts to develop, and disseminate evidence-based resources, and provide training, and technical assistance for the Network.
