The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD or Department)
is pleased to announce the release of this Homeownership Super Notice of Funding
Availability (HOSN or Super NOFA) for approximately $170 million in funds for the
following programs:
• CalHome Program ($135 million)
• Joe Serna, Jr. Farmworker Housing Grant Program – Homeownership ($35 million)
This funding provides Loans and Grants to Local Public Entities and Nonprofits for
Homeownership Development Projects, Self-Help Technical Assistance Projects, Mortgage
Assistance Programs, Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Programs, Shared Housing
Programs and Programs for the Acquisition of Manufactured Housing for Agricultural
Households.
