Through this NOFO, HUD is announcing the availability of at least one award for the $5 million in FY 2022 funding and one award of up to $5 million in FY 2023 funding to provide technical assistance (TA) to units of general local government (UGLGs) and their non-profit partners serving communities experiencing economic hardship.

Eligibility:

Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education

Small businesses

Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education

Private institutions of higher education

For profit organizations other than small businesses


For profit organizations cannot realize any profit from activities supported by the funds provided through this NOFO. Individuals, foreign entities, and sole proprietorship organizations are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement.

Maximum Award: $5M

Minimum Award: $750k
