Through the 2022 Climate Resilience Budget, the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research received funding for the Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Program to fund and support local, regional, and tribal efforts to reduce the impacts of extreme heat. The Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Program team is hosting a series of listening sessions for the Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Program from May 9-31, 2023. These listening sessions will help ensure that community needs and perspectives are considered from the beginning of the grant development process.
While we are still developing the agenda, we anticipate covering:
Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Program background
4/14 ICARP Technical Advisory Council Grant workshop review and takeaways
Discussion questions with participants
Question and answer with OPR staff
Please join us at one of the following listening sessions in May to learn more and share your thoughts!
