CaleVIP - Golden State Priority Project - Deadline 3/10/23

The Golden State Priority Project (GSPP) provides rebates for purchasing and installing eligible direct current (DC) fast chargers capable of at least a 150 kW guaranteed power output at each active connector.

Project Requirements

  • Power: Eligible sites must have at least four active connectors with minimum guaranteed output of at least 150 Kw per connector.

  • Location: Rebates are eligible for sites in 30 specified counties in eastern and central California. Sites must be in disadvantaged and low-income communities as defined by the California Climate Investments Priority Populations Map.

  • Funding: Rebates may equal up to 50% of the project’s total costs or up to $100,000 per active connector based on charger power capacities.

  • Application Window: All applications submitted during the 45-day application window will be processed at the same time after the close of the window. This program is not first-come, first-served. Once the application window closes, each applicant will be assigned a tier based upon the readiness of their application. Applications will be processed in order of highest tier. All applicants will be notified of successful reservation of rebate funds by May 22, 2023.
