Open Solicitations:

Research and Education:

The objective of the Data Science Corps program is to help build a strong national data science infrastructure and workforce. The DSC program seeks to engage data science students in real-world data science implementation projects.

The Centers of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST) program provides support to enhance the research capabilities of minority-serving institutions (MSIs) as defined in this solicitation’s Eligibility section, through effective integration of education and research.

The Program develops technologies and processes for the affordable and timely production and sustainment of defense systems. The Program impacts all phases of the product lifecycle. It aids in achieving reduced acquisition and total ownership costs by developing, maturing, and transitioning key manufacturing technologies.

The purpose of the DF Program is to provide funding for physical facility and digital security enhancements to health care facilities providing abortion-related services and reproductive health care services throughout California that may be the target of violence and vandalism.

The Behavioral Health Scholarship Program (BHSP) increases the number of appropriately trained behavioral health professionals providing direct patient care in an underserved area or qualified facility within California.

Community Development and Transportation:

The research and development (R&D) activities to be funded under this FOA will support the government-wide approach to the climate crisis by driving the innovation and deploying clean transportation technologies, all while maintaining transportation service quality and safety.

The purpose of this solicitation is to support the efforts of States, Tribal governments, and research institutions to promote the domestic maple syrup industry

The California Interagency Council on Homelessness (Cal ICH) is pleased to announce the availability of Round 3 of the Encampment Resolution Funding (ERF) Program. ERF was established to provide funding to Local Jurisdictions, and Continuums of Care (CoCs) to support them to resolve the homelessness of people living in encampments.

The purpose of this program is to provide technical assistance to Socially-Disadvantaged Groups in rural areas. This program supports Rural Development’s (RD) mission of improving the quality of life for rural Americans and commitment to directing resources to those who most need them.

The goals of the Roadside Pollinator Program are to fund the implementation, improvement, or further development of the applicants’ Pollinator Friendly Practices Plan (Plan) on routes eligible for Federal-aid.

Energy and Environment:

The Lighting Prize (L-Prize) is designed to advance the U.S. clean energy economy for next-generation LED lighting, encouraging innovators and researchers to engage in advanced lighting system development that leads to transformative designs, products, and impact.

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is jointly issued by the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) and Wind Energy Technologies Office (WETO) to support innovative work to enable simpler, faster, and fairer interconnection of clean energy resources while enhancing the reliability, resiliency, and security of our electrical grid.

The California Energy Commission’s Siting, Transmission, and Environmental Protection Division announces California Clean Energy Planning Program (CCEPP) and the availability of up to $1,550,000 in grant funds for this first-come, first-served grant solicitation.

Forecasted Opportunities:

The FOA would support the necessary data and analysis to validate tools used in the design and development of extreme-scale wind turbine rotors and facilitate the accelerated development and deployment of cost-effective offshore wind technology.
