Mass CEC - Long Duration Energy Storage Study Stakeholder Sessions - 6/7 and 8/16

Section 80 of Chapter 179 of the Acts of 2022 (“An Act Driving Clean Energy and Offshore Wind”) requires the Department of Energy Resources (DOER), in consultation with the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), to conduct a study on mid- to long-duration energy storage. MassCEC, DOER, and our selected consultant working on the study—Energy and Environmental Economics (E3)—will be conducting Study stakeholder sessions to present interim work products, address technical questions, and collect feedback on the Study. The first of two stakeholder sessions will be held on June 7, 2023, from 9:30am-11:00am ET via Zoom. The second session is August 16th, 2023, from 9:30am-11:00am ET. They invite you to attend these sessions to learn more about the Study and contribute your feedback.
