Public Comment Period Open for TFCA Regional Fund Policies

To All Interested Parties, The Air District is currently accepting public comments for the development of the Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA) Regional Fund Policies and Evaluation Criteria for Fiscal Year Ending (FYE) 2022 ("FYE 2022 Policies"). Two public webinars have been scheduled to review the current fiscal year policies, discuss proposed updates, and obtain stakeholder feedback. Based on input from stakeholders, Air District staff will prepare a final draft of the proposed FYE 2022 Policies for consideration by the Air District's Board of Directors at a meeting that is tentatively scheduled for June 2021. The adopted FYE 2022 Policies will govern the use of the TFCA funds from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. The initial draft of the FYE 2022 Policies is available in the "Resources" section of the Air District's TFCA Regional Fund web page.

Webinars Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend a webinar before submitting comments. Two webinars have been scheduled to provide background on the TFCA program, discuss initial proposed updates, and review the public comment process and the timeline. Please note that registration is required for participation in the webinars. Early registration is encouraged as the webinars are held online and limited to 100 attendees.

  • Webinar 1: March 2, 2021, from 10AM to 11AM PST (Register)
