Description:
Through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement with ENERGYWERX, SETO developed the Equitable Solar Communities of Practice program to support the equitable distribution of the benefits of solar. These communities of practice, (a group of organizations with expertise in equitable solar, to include one ‘lead organization’ and up to six core team members) will convene over a 6-month period in 2024, to identify resource gaps, support the development and dissemination of best practices and resources, and identify and propose new resources, tools, technical assistance offerings needed to scale equitable solar across five categories.
Lead organizations will be eligible for in $75,000 funding per community of practice, distributed based on the completion of project milestones.
Join the Informational Webinar/Objective Strategic Session (IW/OSS) on November 15, 2023. Potential recipients will be able to discuss the scope, scale, and intent of the program and ask questions of DOE.
Eligibility:
ENERGYWERX seeks applications from organizations with experience addressing issues of equitable solar access at a national or broad regional level (additional details on applicant qualifications and capabilities can be found below) to serve as lead organizations for one or more of the five communities of practice proposed.
