Details: 8/13/2021. Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO): Solicitation of Project Proposals for the Research to Practice (R2P) Program. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the availability of $545,000 of fiscal year (FY) 2014 and FY 2015 funds to develop a dissemination plan to share successful findings from FTA-funded research projects. Proposals must be submitted electronically through GRANTS.GOV by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on 10/12/2021.

Summary: The main purpose of the R2P Program is to support FTA research activities by identifying strategies to promote widespread adoption of innovative solutions that will improve public transportation for America’s communities. In addition, this initiative will identify the best communication methods for sharing FTA’s vast portfolio of past research with public transportation professionals.

Eligible Applicants: Eligible applicants are national non-profit organizations with experience in R2P, marketing, and communications that have the capacity to accomplish the goals and tasks described in the NOFO.

Link and Instructions for completing the SF-424 and instructions for submitting the Project Narrative: All applicants must complete the SF-424 and provide a narrative application in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or a compatible file format. The narrative application and supporting documentation must be uploaded to the Attachments section of the SF-424 and submitted in GRANTS.GOV.

Dates: An applicant must submit a proposal electronically by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on 10/12/2021. Any agency intending to apply should initiate the process of registering on the GRANTS.GOV site immediately to ensure completion of registration before the submission deadline.
