Opportunity Title:
Light-Duty Electric Vehicle Block Grant Design Changes Workshop
Funder/Agency:
CEC
Description:
The CEC funds two block grants for fast and efficient installation of light-duty electric vehicle
charging stations across California. CALeVIP 2.0 offers rebates for the purchase and installation of high-powered direct current fast chargers and CIC offers rebates for Level 2 chargers. CALeVIP 2.0 and CIC have each launched two funding windows to date. The design, requirements, and eligibility within each project have evolved to incorporate lessons learned. This workshop will cover proposed changes for both the rebate program implementers and potential applicants.
The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to solicit public input on proposed design changes to the California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) 2.0 (funds fast chargers) and Communities in Charge (CIC) (funds Level 2 long dwell time chargers).
The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
