Open Solicitations:


Research and Education:

Focus On Recruiting Emerging Climate and Adaptation Scientists and Transformers (FORECAST) seeks to facilitate the transition from status quo graduate career preparation to a student-centered model with a particular emphasis on building entrepreneurial and innovation capacity at emerging research institutions (ERIs).

The purpose of the Disability Innovation Fund (DIF) Program is to support innovative activities aimed at increasing competitive integrated employment (CIE)

The EAR program addresses the need for longer-term, higher risk breakthrough research with the potential for transformational improvements to plan, build, renew, and operate safe, congestion free, and environmentally sound transportation systems. The overall goal of this NOFO is to collect diverse pedestrian data, provide researchers access to this data, and encourage novel approaches for analysis of diverse data in support of increasing the safety and mobility of all people.



Energy and Environment:

NYSERDA is seeking proposals for a comprehensive, statewide building data platform and analytical resources that will be used to quantify and strengthen the development, implementation and execution of NYSERDA’s market-focused efforts to accelerate building electrification, as well as the adoption of clean energy products and energy efficiency measures.

PowerForward is California’s market-accelerating, $35 million grant program designed to: 1) Attract and retain zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) battery manufacturing in California 2) Directly and indirectly create high-quality jobs 3) Create positive economic impacts that benefit local communities and priority populations 4) Contribute to California's goal of zero-emission transportation.



Conservation and Infrastructure:

The Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure Safety and Modernization (NGDISM) grant’s eligible entities are municipality- or community-owned utilities, not including for-profit entities, seeking assistance in repairing, rehabilitating, or replacing high-risk, leak-prone natural gas distribution infrastructure, or in acquiring equipment to reduce incidents and fatalities and avoid economic losses.

The RCPP promotes the coordination of NRCS conservation activities with partners that offer value-added contributions to expand our ability to address on-farm, watershed, and regional natural resource concerns. Using guidance contained in this notice, partners propose projects that generate conservation benefits by addressing specific natural resource concerns in a state or multistate area by addressing one or more priority resource concerns within an NRCS designated critical conservation area (CCA).

The RCPP promotes the coordination of NRCS conservation activities with partners that offer value-added contributions to expand our ability to address on-farm, watershed, and regional natural resource concerns. NRCS and partners collaborate to design, promote, and implement RCPP projects on agricultural and nonindustrial private forest land.



Housing and Community Development:

The principal goal of this program is to provide grants to Non-entitlement Local Governments in California to assist persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness and to fund investments that increase the supply of housing to households with incomes of 60 percent or less that area median income.

The purpose of this grant offered through the Office of the Attorney General, California Department of Justice Tobacco Grant Program is to promote a healthier California by reducing illegal sales and marketing of cigarettes and tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, to minors and youth.

The purpose of the Program is to fund Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Programs in California to provide more children in foster care with a CASA volunteer who will advocate for the services and support needed by children who have experienced abuse and neglect.



Forecasted Opportunities:

This FOA will support the research, development and demonstration (RD&D) of smart manufacturing technologies that can contribute to a resilient, responsive, leading-edge and efficient manufacturing sector that delivers the technologies needed for the nation’s clean energy transition.

The Farm & Ranch Solid Waste Clean Up & Abatement Grant program offers financial support to address the cleanup & prevention of illegal dumping on properties designated for agricultural purposes.


Request(s) for Information:

This RFI is an opportunity for industry and other stakeholders to highlight specific supply chain gaps, vulnerabilities, and/or challenges impacting various components of clean energy technologies. MESC will use the responses to create a heatmap to assess investment opportunities across clean energy supply chains, as a follow on to the analysis first released in the 2023 Supply Chain Progress Report.

Grants.gov will conduct routine system maintenance on the 3rd weekend of every month. The maintenance window will be Saturday 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM ET the following business day (typically Monday). Production System will go Offline Saturday May 18, 2024 at 12:01 AM ET. Production System will go Online Monday May 20, 2024 at 6:00 AM ET.
